You're almost ready to bring your design to the real world.

 

Compatibility with the latest Google Earth version (7.3.3)

In this latest version, Google has withdrawn the communication protocol COM API, which is utilized by third-party programs, like Plex.Earth, in order to make use of the application. As such you will receive the following warning when trying to use our software in conjunction with Google Earth:

As a result, you will need to install an older version of Google Earth, like 7.1.8 that supports ALL existing functionality and DOES NOT automatically update to 7.3.3.

If you have already followed the in app-instructions and installed Google Earth 7.1.8 you are good to go. If not, here is the procedure you need to follow, in this order:

  1. Download and install Google Earth 7.1.8 (choose to NOT run it after the setup)
  2. Download and install the latest release of Plex.Earth 4 (even if this what you are already have, in which case you can run the installer and select “Modify” -> “Repair”)
  3. Open AutoCAD and start Plex.Earth.
